Learning at Alpine is not just confined to the four walls of classrooms. We connect teaching with real life and make our Alpanities lifelong learners. To foster the holistic development of a scholar, co-curricular activities are integrated with the school curriculum. These activities include theater, drama and various skill clubs.

No matter which club you belong to, you can look forward to precious experiences that will help you to improve yourself and discover who you really are

There are a number of School Clubs, both scholastic and co scholastic. These clubs are a great way to explore the interest of any student or even develop new ones. The wealth of activities offered through these clubs capitalizes on the student’s interest and inclination. Our vast range of clubs caters for every interest, from sports to events to plays and debates. Activities and competitions of co-curricular activities are planned and listed in the Almanac at the beginning of the session.

Our vast range of clubs caters for every interest, from sports to events to plays and debates. The school house system at Alpine Convent School, helps to teach children the value of teamwork and good behavior.

We place a high value on learning about working as a team and the benefits of good behavior, so the School House System is an important part of student life. Your child will join one of the four school houses. The houses are named after the mystical characters that bring good luck. The houses are:

Dragon, Unicorn, Pegasus and Phoenix

Activities and competitions of co-curricular activities are planned and listed in the Almanac at the beginning of the session. Each student is placed in a house. Older students are given the responsibility to serve as House Captains, with one boy House Captain and one girl House Captain for each house.

Throughout the year, students receive points which contribute to the house competitions. Your child will receive house points as rewards for things such as good behavior, good work, and good attitude. Student could also win extra points for your house through house events:

  • Sports Day
  • Spelling Bees
  • Quizzes
  • Parent and Child Competitions
  • Public speaking
  • Poetry writing
  • Art and design competitions
  • Science Fair

Every week, we have a school-wide assembly where we count the individual house points and announce the winning house for the week. Then, at the end of the year, all points are counted and the winning house for the year is announced and awards are distributed. There is a wonderful sense of camaraderie generated throughout the school with the house system.

EXCURSIONS

School excursions and International School Study Tours enhance students’ learning by providing the opportunities for students to participate in curriculum-related activities outside the normal school routine. School excursions are well-planned curriculum-related activities that aim to maximize students’ learning experiences.

BOARDING & DAY BOARDING

One of the major concerns for school authorities and parents today is the safety and security of students while commuting to school as well as inside the school premises. Buses pick up and drop the students’ right in front of their houses. Boarding and day boarding of Students for buses is done inside the school premises from a dedicated bus lobby.

There is bus tracking functionality along with smart communication feature and RFID tracking for students. While ensuring all-round student security, it also effectively bridges the communication gap between parents, mentors & students. The GPS tracking system is available both as Web App and Mobile App so that users can use it anytime to locate the bus and the students.
